Refund Policy

1. Scope of Service

ScrapShift provides a platform for efficient scrap collection and recycling. We facilitate pick-ups and process payouts based on material weight and market rates.

No Guarantee

Service fulfillment is dependent on logistics availability and material verification. ScrapShift does not guarantee immediate pickup in all scenarios.

No Liability

We are not involved in secondary market fluctuations. No refunds are issued based on material price changes after the transaction is finalized.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds (or payment corrections) are strictly limited to the following scenarios:

  • 1.
    Technical Issues

    If a verified platform error prevents payout processing and we cannot resolve it within 5 business days.

  • 2.
    Duplicate Transactions

    If a wallet deposit or payout is processed multiple times due to a system error.

  • 3.
    Rejected Pickups

    If a scheduled pickup is cancelled by ScrapShift (provided no violation occurred), any associated service fees may be refunded.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Material Rejection: If items are found to be illegal, hazardous, or non-recyclable.
  • Pricing Disputes: If market rates change between booking and pickup.
  • Geographic Misuse: ScrapShift is for Pan-India use only. Requests outside active zones.
  • Policy Violations: Suspension due to violation of Terms & Conditions.

Email swapnilrao729@gmail.com within 15 days of the transaction with detailed proof.

Our team will review the request and respond within 7–8 business days.

User Responsiveness

If further information is requested, the user must respond within 7 calendar days to keep the request active.
